These units are groups of cages pre-assembled into cage-banks for strength. Now you can have two kennels (one upstairs and one downstairs) in the same floorspace as what a traditional kennel or crate would normally take up! Customization is available for the kennel door. We redesigned the gates to allow them to use our open loop hinge design. We learned that dog hair getting caught in the hinge is the number one cause of hinge failure. Our hinge design allows the dog hair to fall through and not get caught inside - so it cannot start causing damage! Additionally, our hinges are now stronger than ever with stainless steel hardware so they last even longer!

Each of our double-stacked kennel units has 4 spaces for dogs! There is a removable divide-panel to allow you to open the spaces up for more room. Both the upstairs and downstairs has the removable divide. This means you can pull the divide out as-needed to allow for bigger dogs. Removing the divide will drop the available spots for dogs from 4 to two (if BOTH divides are removed). You can add or remove the divide without tools.
First, decide if you are going to remove the upstairs or downstairs divide. Then unscrew the knob located at the top of that space. The center bar will roll toward you. Lift this bar up and off the pins. Then slide the removable panel out (pull straight toward you). Drop the center bar back in place and screw the knob back in.
The outside dimensions are: 48" wide x 30" deep x 72" tall.
There are limits to the sizes we can build. We are limited to a maximum size for shipping and getting through an existing door, etc. We also do not want to make the kennels too large or they will be impossible to properly clean without having to crawl inside (which is not ideal). These units are intended for small dogs.
Yes, the unit ships on heavy-duty casters (wheels) to make it easier to move around. If you want to take the wheels off, they unscrew from the bottom of the enclosure.

The best cleanser we found to work on the kennels is Scrubbing Bubbles for the bathroom. Another really good cleanser is regular Dawn dish soap.
