By opening or closing the door, you decide which side of the gate the dog is held. A built-in handle allows you to easily lift the door to allow the dogs access into or out of the kennel. Using the optional pulleys allows you to operate the door from outside the kennel! Place one pulley directly above the guillotine gate and the other where you want the rope or cable to come back down (usually outside the front of the kennel). Then, when you pull down on the rope, the gate lifts! You can even clip the rope or cable to our kennel post to keep the guillotine gate in the lifted position to allow the dogs free access.
Made from Anodized Aluminum, the rails allow the gate to slide easily without the need for lubrication! Our rails are thicker than most other kennel manufacterers to keep the dogs from bending or twisting them. This keeps the gate panel sliding smoothly for years to come! The aluminum will not rust - even if you install the guillotine door outside!
The guillotine gate panel is made from ½" thick HDPE Plastic. Unlike other gates made from metal, ours will not bind, collect hair, or rust! The thick panel helps keep in your heat and keeps the dogs from pushing, bowing, warping, or twisting the door.
Color-option is for the gate-only! The slide-rails (included) are always natural silver aluminum color.

We recently changed out some of our old guillotine doors from the seventies to these new ones. Installation was a snap and the quality of the doors was very much appreciated. WE just ordered another 10 and will be updating our facility with all of these. I have been in this field for 45 years and these are the best ones I have come across. Great product!
Absolutely love them! The transfer gates make perfect dog doors for our kennel. They are attractive & durable. This is our 2nd order as we continue to update the older facility we purchased.
